BUDGET & ACCOUNTING MANAGER (POS #15) Previous Applicants Need Not Apply. Full-time. Individual wanted to provide oversight of the Accounting operations in the areas of payroll, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and external audit functions. Individual will be responsible for the development and monitoring of agency budgets, data analysis, cost accounting methods, and other financial reports. Seeking an individual with a strong ability to analyze financial data, apply statistical techniques, and use standard office and financial management software applications. Job functions also include the application of accounting and auditing principles and techniques to ensure data integrity and strong internal controls. Supervisory experience and a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related discipline strongly preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent fringe benefit package. CASE MANAGER MH-SA ADULT (POS #941) Full-time. Position requires creative solution ability, flexible schedules, on call assistance and crisis intervention. Interface with various systems that work with persons with disabilities such as assisted living facilities; social services psychiatric hospitals; etc. Individual will provide case management services to individuals 18 years of age or older who may be dually diagnosed, homeless, incarcerated and/or institutionalized. Duties include assessing needs, providing outreach, supportive services and linkages for individuals with intellectual serious mental illness and possible co-occurring substance use disorders. Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services or related field, and one (1) year experience in case management services preferred. Applicant must possess valid driver's license and acceptable DMV record at time of employment and continuously thereafter for the requirement of operating agency vehicles. Please submit DMV driving record with application. Hours are generally Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm; however some evening and weekend work may be required. COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATE II (POS #575) Full-time. Individual wanted to work with adults with intellectual disabilities in a day support program. Employee will assess individuals and develop, implement and update individualized service plans utilizing a person centered approach. Employee will also provide instruction in the areas of personal, social, and behavioral skills in both center-based and community settings. Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field preferrred. Equivalent education plus experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities and knowledge of positive behavioral supports strategies may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Knowledge of the VA Medicaid Waiver program is preferred. Applicant must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable DMV record at the time of employment and maintain thereafter throughout employment. Basic computer skills are required. Employee will be required to drive a mini-bus and operate a wheelchair lift. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Starting salary range: $31,230 - $34,500 / year. DATABASE ANALYST SENIOR (POS #9) Full-time. Individual works primarily with the information systems and operations staff to ensure data integrity and security, focusing on the back-end portion and interaction of data. Maintains application software and modifies support software as required. Provides help desk support for application software to 200+ end users. Develops training materials and provides training to end users and management. Participates in implementing software systems, to include the Electronic Health Record, across all departments. Develops and maintains documentation on all databases, database software, business processes, and extracted data as required by pertinent regulations. Verifies and validates the integrity of the data in the databases. Identifies, designs, develops, tests, implements and documents database system modifications through forms development tools. Participates in database testing and validates database modifications. May assist IS Manager with DBA responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, preferred. Strong ability to understand and document complex system processes and relate them to end users in non-technical terms. Knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server and/or other relational database systems. High level skill with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint and Project. Crystal Reports and/or SQL Server Reports a plus. Proven organizational and analytical skills. Must be able to manage day-to-day duties while participating actively in new implementations. DRIVER - Relief (POS #517) Flexible Schedule. Individual needed to transport persons with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness to/ from Colonial Behavioral Health programs. Three hour shifts available between the hours of 6:00 to 10:00 am and/or 3:00 to 6:30 pm on Monday through Friday. Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and an acceptable driving record at the time of employment and maintain thereafter. For employment consideration applicant must be eligible and willing to obtain a Virginia Commercial Driver's License. Must be able to drive a mini-bus and operate a wheelchair lift. Current CDL a plus. Dept. of Motor Vehicle Record must be submitted with application. Some basic computer skills required. $10.40 / hour. Closing Date: Open Until Filled.

Nurse III LPN (POS #322) Medication Services Specialist-LPN. Full-time.  The employee will provide psychiatric nursing services to persons who are patients of Colonial Behavioral Health with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and substance use disorders in conjunction with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners employed by the agency. Related responsibilities include client assessment, service planning, medication administration, client monitoring, client/family medication education, and consultation to staff and other healthcare providers. Work requires the interpretation, application and implementation of rules, procedures and regulations affecting medical services. Work involves assisting the medical unit in the assessment, planning and treatment of persons served. The client population is mainly children/adolescents and may include adults, and the elderly. In addition, the LPN will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients who receive psychiatric medication services as their primary mode of treatment. This position will also provide assessment, planning, care coordination, patient monitoring and medication management. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the health information records of the caseload, according to agency policies and procedures and external regulations. Must have ability to interact effectively with the client population, including good listening, therapeutic, communication skills, crisis intervention skills and problem solving. Required LPN degree in state of Virginia, a minimum of one year psychiatric nursing, ability to use a personal computer and to document in electronic health information software, and ability to use basic office equipment. MH SUPPORT SPECIALIST – RELIEF (POS #833) PRN position – flexible hours to include day, evening, and weekends. Individual wanted to work in a community based Mental Health supports program for adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Position will provide community based mental health supports in either a community setting or Assisted Living Facility. Duties include the development and implementation of an individualized service plan and ongoing documentation of consumer progress. Employee will provide training and assistance, education, and/or reinforcement of consumer’s functional skills and activities of daily living. Position qualifications include BS/BA degree in human services field and one year of clinical experience in the delivery of mental health related services. Applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Applicant must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record at the time of interview and maintain at all times. REVENUE ANALYST (#907) PRN position.  Medical billing position. Duties include automated medical billing, payment posting, claim follow-up, provider credentialing, revenue reconciliation and working with practice management staff to maximize revenue generation and collection. Demonstrated experience with Medicaid and Medicare billing required. Closing Date: Open Until Filled

START COORDINATORS

Performs preliminary mental status assessments and short-term crisis intervention primarily at the assigned Community Services Board/ Behavioral Health Authority; however, may provide services across the region. Makes referrals or coordinates admissions to treatment services as part of the Regional START Clinical team. Recruiting for nine (9) START Coordinators to be assigned to each of the CSB / BHA in HPR-V. Provides 24/7/365 response to crisis situations according to on-call schedule.  START – Systematic Therapeutic Assessment Respite and Treatment is a linkage model to promote a system of care in the provision of community services, natural supports and mental health treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disability and mental health needs. Requirements are Master’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling) and three (3) years clinical experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including programming for individuals with significant behavioral needs. Requires knowledge of the MH/DD/SA system. Current VA license as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) preferred. Salary commensurate with knowledge and experience.
