COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATE I (POS #204, #510, #547) Relief positions.  Individual(s) wanted to work with adults in providing direct service treatment and case coordination for adults with intellectual disabilities, serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders. Individual is an integral participant in a service system that focuses on self determination, empowerment and recovery. Experience with stated population(s), knowledge of behavior management techniques and person centered approach. H.S./Equiv. Required. Typing and Computer Skills essential. Applicant must possess valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV Record. Hourly Rate: $11.33.

COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATE II – (POS #575)  Full-time.  Individual wanted to work with adults with intellectual disabilities in a day support setting. Individual will assess individuals and develop, implement and update ISPs utilizing a person centered approach. Individual will also provide instruction in the areas of person, social, and behavioral skills in both center-based and community settings. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field preferred or equivalent education and experience working with ID population and knowledge of behavior management techniques is required. Applicant must possess valid driver’s license at the time of employment, an acceptable DMV record and maintain these throughout employment. Basic computer skills required. Starting Salary: $31,230. COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATE II – (POS #413)  Part-time, 30 hours/week.  Individual wanted to provide supervision and training to adults with ID in a community residential program. Develops and implements training programs for individuals in independent living skills and functional academics with a person-centered approach. Applicants must have demonstrated ability in working with ID individuals and knowledge of behavior management techniques. Basic typing and computer skills required. Bachelor’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences with at least a year of professional work experience in the direct care of person’s with ID is preferred. Applicant must possess valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record. Work schedule: Sunday-Wednesday: Off; Tuesday, Friday and Saturday:-12 Noon to 10 P.M. Starting Salary: $23,416. Limited fringe benefits available.  Closing date:  March 26, 2010.

DRIVERS (POS #517) Relief Position.  Transport ID/MH consumers to/from Colonial Services Board programs.  Three hour shifts available; either 6:00 - 9:00 a.m. or 3:00-6:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday.  Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license and an acceptable driving record at the time of employment and maintain thereafter.  For employment consideration applicant must be eligible and willing to obtain a VA Commercial Driver’s License.  Current CDL a plus.  DMV record must be submitted with application.  Hourly Rate: $10.40.

QUALITY COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST (POS #14) Full-time middle management position responsible for managing and assisting with agency wide administrative quality assurance, risk management, and practice management functions. Quality compliance includes coordination of decentralized quality assurance practices, client rights advocacy, development of risk management protocols and performance improvement and outcome measurement processes. Exercises a high level of management skills, analytical skills, and judgment to balance administrative and clinical interests. Demonstrated understanding of behavioral healthcare systems is essential; including knowledge of Medicaid and state Licensing regulations. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare and/or business related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Considerable work experience in quality, compliance, risk management and/or practice management in a behavioral health setting preferred. Experience with electronic health records and/or health information systems in a behavioral health setting preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. THERAPIST (POS #211) Full-time licensed counselor or clinical social worker sought to provide outpatient psychotherapy to adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders in a community mental health center. Duties include group, individual, and some family counseling plus administrative duties. LCSW, LPC, or LCP required. License eligible will be considered. Salary Commensurate with experience. THERAPIST (POS #225) Full-time. Seeking motivated clinician to provide direct in home services to children, adolescents and their families. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate solid clinical skills with families. The position requires initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include individual and family assessments, counseling services; education and case management services in the youth’s home. Interface with various systems that work with youth such as schools, courts, and social services. Position requires creative solution ability, flexible schedules, on call assistance and crisis intervention.. Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Worker is required with at least two years of experience in stated areas. Salary Range: $34,326-62,196.  Open until filled.

THERAPIST (POS #838, POS #839) Children’s Services Unit seeking licensed professional(s) to provide direct therapeutic interventions to children/adolescents, families, and groups with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health or intellectual disability issues. Duties include individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy with children, adolescents and their families. LCSW, LPC, or LCP or LSATP required and at least one year of experience providing clinical services to an adolescent population with co-occurring disorders preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of assessment, evaluation, diagnosis and service planning of the co-occurring population required. Salary Commensurate with experience. Excellent fringe benefit package.
